Painted Lady Butterfly.

The Painted Lady butterfly has one of the longest migration routes of any creature on earth, the journey is not completed by an individual butterfly as it is so long but by many generations. A true wonder of nature. On the island of Lanzarote we are visited most years by thousands of them in the autumn months and can sometimes appear in such vast numbers its almost like snow is falling.
